The US bishops have set up a web site that teaches us how we Catholics should understand and participate in the political process. The web site is www.faithfulcitizenship.org. This site has a wealth of information that you can use to properly vote as a Catholic. There is the document the bishops issued on Faithful Citizenship. There are a number of videos that summarize the document and expand on it. There is a whole wealth of information at the site. Please look at the US bishops site www.faithfulcitizenship.org.

For the Nov. 2009 they recommend voting for propositions 4 and 8 and against proposition 6.

See the bishop’s website for complete discussion www.cacatholic.org.
